What's the Worst Customer Service Experience You've Ever Received?

What's the worst customer service you've ever received? For me, av got tons of them. Still fresh in my memory is how an insurance company refused to release my money for close to 2 years after signing the release form. While i kept calling their customer service representatives, they kept making me endless promises they actually had no intention of keeping. They were forced to release it only after i threatened to go viral (online and on air) with the story. Now if you think that bad, then check this out; i once saw a bank teller just the counter to beat up a customer after a heated argument with the customer. The guy was so angry, he said he didn't mind being fired after the incident.

Its true that not all customers come nice and easy, but the ability to handle problem customers is the hallmark of great customer service. Organizations must ensure that only persons who can display emotional intelligence are hired to represent them.
